Holdover titles remained a powerful draw this past weekend, with Michael (2026) and The Devil Wears Prada 2 consistently ranking in the top three across both markets.
In the US, a new release took the lead. Obsession captured 22.2% of moviegoers, followed by Michael (2026) at 17.0% and The Devil Wears Prada 2 at 14.2%.
In the UK, the order shifted. Michael (2026) held the top spot with a commanding 32.1%, while The Devil Wears Prada 2 maintained second place at 20.1%. Obsession entered the rankings in third, attracting 13.4% of moviegoers.
Horror continues to skew young and male. Obsession reinforces this familiar trend for the genre, drawing a predominantly younger, male audience. Over 60% of viewers identified as male in both markets, with strong engagement from younger demographics, nearly half of UK audiences aged 12-24, and 34% in the US.
